Step Three, Buke 7.0 "HMI Parameter Configuration Tutorial"

3.1 Installing the Interface Editing Software (DTools v3.3 or Later)

  1. Locate the software installation package on the web disk, download it, extract the files, and execute the setup.

  2. Proceed with the installation process by following the step-by-step instructions.

3.2 Setting the PC and Touch Screen on the Same Network Segment

On the PC, the Ethernet connection to the touch screen has an IP address of "192.168.192.x", where x is in the range of [0,20) or (20,255].

3.3 Setting the IP Address of the Touch Screen to 192.168.192.20

Touch the screen after | > Note: The IP address has been modified and this step can be skipped. If the PC is unable to connect to the touch screen, proceed to this step.

  1. Press and hold the touch screen, then power on the device.

  2. Once started, select "System Settings" and choose "Simplified Chinese" or "English" based on your preference. This will take you to the "System Settings" screen.

  3. Select the "IP Settings" tab on the "System Settings" interface. If the "IP address" is not "192.168.192.20", change it to "192.168.192.20". If the Gateway is not "192.168.0.1", change it to "192.168.0.1". Leave all other settings unchanged.

  4. After making the necessary modifications, click the "Restart" button in the upper right corner to save the changes.

3.4 Utilize KDManager Tool to Program the Screen Interface

  1. Locate and run the KDManager.exe file.

  2. On the interface, click "Download Processing" and then click "Settings" to configure the parameters as shown in the image below in the pop-up "Communication Parameter Settings" interface. Click "OK" to save the changes.

  3. Click the "Download Project" button on the interface and select the corresponding target interface program file (.pkgx) in the pop-up dialog box. The window for burning the interface program will appear.

  4. The window for writing the interface program will appear. Click the "Download" button to start the writing process.

  5. After successful writing, the interface will appear as shown in the image below.

Note: When writing again, it may prompt "Communication timeout" as shown in the figure below. This is because the IP address and gateway of the touch screen have been changed in the program on the interface. To resolve this issue, please refer to step 3: "Determine the IP address of the touch screen as '192.168.192.20'" and reset the IP address of the touch screen to "192.168.192.20".
