1. Scope of Application

This document provides instructions on how to set up the Smart Man laser sensor.

Second, Debugging Resources

3. WR-10PCD-C3 Configuration Method

  1. Begin by configuring the Ethernet network segment of the computer to 192.168.0.XX to ensure that the software can locate the laser's IP address.

  1. Connect the laser's network cable to the computer, open the "Laser software", and click "Ethernet Scan". You will see that the laser's default IP address is: 192.168.0.10.

  1. Change the IP address from 192.168.0.10 to 192.168.192.XXX. Click on "Network Configuration" to complete the laser's IP configuration.

  1. Open RoboshopPro and connect the robot using the laser. Click on the [robot model] to access the laser's parameter configuration. Open it and modify the IP address on the right. The port number should be set to 2112 and cannot be changed. Select the name of the laser: LS-WR-UDP (for smart people). Once you have finished making the changes, click on "push" to complete the process.

IV. Other Models

Smart Man lasers, except for the WR-10CPD-C3, can be configured using the following methods:

Configuration Process

  1. Once the WR measurement Lidar assistance software is installed, open the debugging software. The interface will appear as shown in the image below:

  1. Open the front cover of the laser and connect it to the PC using the Type-C connection cable, as illustrated below:

  1. Choose "USB Serial port" in the software and click the "Establish Connection" button, as illustrated in the image below:

  1. The software will display a dialog box with the message "Connection successful". Select "LS Network configuration" in the "Network" pop-up configuration dialog box. Set the IP address to 192.168.192.100 and the subnet mask to 255.255.255.0 as shown below:

  1. Click on "Network Configuration" and a message will be displayed indicating that the configuration was successful.

  2. Once the laser device has been configured, restart it and wait until the restart is complete. Then, run the ping test. If the test is successful, the IP address of the laser device has been correctly configured.
