The main contents of this article are as follows:
1. Necessary preparations
2. Configure the camera's dynamic IP address
3. Configure the camera's static IP address
4. Common reasons for IP address configuration failure
Pieces | > Tip: This paper is mainly focused on modifying the IP camera on a Windows system. The method for setting up the IP on a Linux system is similar.
① Hardware Connection
Connect the camera to a 12V/24V DC power supply, and connect the camera to the PC through a network cable.
② Verify Indicators
If the three-colored indicators on the camera are not illuminated, first verify the camera's power supply and network cable connection.
The keyboard shortcut "Win + R" is displayed. Enter "cmd" to access the command prompt.
④ Place the x64 file package on the desktop of the computer (avoid using Chinese characters in the path), and navigate to the x64 file package path using the cd command.
Set the camera to a fixed IP address
① Connect the Tuyang camera to a network port with a fixed IP address that differs from the last bit of the camera's fixed IP address to be set.
Step 2: Enter ForceDeviceIP.exe -static camera MAC address
fixed IP address subnet mask default gateway.
For example, if you want to set the fixed IP address to 192.168.3.100 with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 and a default gateway of 192.168.3.1, you would enter the following command: ForceDeviceIP.exe -static 62:7D:EB:89:91:03 192.168.3.100 255.255.255.0 192.168.3.1. Once you see the "Done" message, the fixed IP address has been successfully set.
③ Once the camera has been powered off and restarted, run a ping test on the fixed IP address to confirm that it has taken effect.
Common reasons for failure to set an IP address
- The camera's network cable is not properly connected.
- When setting the camera's dynamic IP address, make sure to change the corresponding network port on the computer to "Automatically Obtain IP Address (DHCP)".
- When setting the camera's fixed IP address, make sure to set the corresponding network port on the computer with the fixed IP address and subnet mask.
- There may be a content or formatting error in the camera's IP address, which is set by the camera's MAC code (case-insensitive, but separated by colons).
Using Roboshop to configure the Tuyang camera method
Five, Configuration of Model Files
Six, testing work
1.1 To begin, connect the Tuyang camera to a power source, use a network cable to connect the camera, and connect the other end of the cable to the computer's network port;
1.2 To open Ethernet Settings on your computer, select Internet Protocol
and choose the following IP address: 192.168.192.XX (Note: The network segment must be 192 network segment).
1.3 If all the indicators on the camera remain steady, there are no issues;
1. Open roboshop, click on "Other" from the home page, and select "Camera Network Configuration".
To begin, open the [Camera Network Configuration] option. The following interface will be displayed:
2.1 The IP address is the default address of the camera. You can enter "ping + IP address" in the command window. If the IP address can be pinged, it indicates that there is no problem with the connection. Compare the MAC address
on the camera with the one on it.
2.2 If required, you can modify the IP address and click on "Setting";
2.3 Once the settings have been completed, you can use the configured IP address to ping in the command prompt window.
Note: If the camera is not connected, the following interface will appear:
