I. Working mode: Client
mode
To begin with, restore the client to factory settings by pressing the
RESET
button for 10 seconds until the indicator light turns on. This can be done withTP-LINK
.
Select 'Obtain automatically' for Ethernet-enabled Internet Protocol properties for both IP address and DNS server address, and then click OK.
Connect one end of the network cable to the TP-LINK client and the other end to the computer.
Using a browser (Google Chrome is recommended), enter
tplogin.cn
in the URL bar. Log in to the TP-LINK configuration page and set the username and password. The recommended username and password are admin and seer123456. It is strongly advised to use the recommended username and password so that other engineers can quickly access the background when reconfiguring the client.
Once the setup is finished, the subsequent page will appear. Select the
Client
mode for the working mode and click on the Next button.
Go to the wireless settings page and click on "Scan" to search for available 5G wireless networks. Choose the network you want to connect to, enter the password, and click "Next".
Click "OK" on the completion screen to assign the IP address.
Revised:
Click "OK" on the completion screen to assign the IP address.
Upon successful assignment, the following information will be displayed. Enter the IP address in the browser's address bar to access the homepage.
2. The working mode is client-router mode.
Access the TP-LINK configuration page and switch the mode to
Client-Router
.
The [Wireless Setting] method is consistent with Client Pattern 6-8.
Once the connection is established, click on the Network Interface on the Home page to view the IP address assigned to the device by the network. You can either use the IP address automatically assigned by the network or configure a fixed IP address based on site requirements, as shown in the following two figures.
Choose N-1 NAT from the NAT Mode dropdown menu, select tcp from the protocol dropdown menu, select Enable from the port forwarding dropdown menu, click 'Add', enter the WAN port number, IP address of the LAN port, and LAN port number, select Enable and click OK. For more information about the configured ports, refer to the table below.

Note:
When configuring the TL-1300D for use on the robot, all ports related to the robot in the above table should be configured in the device at a minimum. Modbus device, UR manipulator, camera, and charging should be added as needed based on specific requirements.
Connect the TL-1300D to a separate network port on the robot controller (a switch network port on a non-core controller). Use a network cable to connect the core control and debugging computer. Open RoboShop and add 192.168.192.5 in the [Advanced Configuration] section to perform the following configuration. Note: Select "Disable wireless network card" (you must select this option to avoid network card conflicts), which will result in the implementation of the port.
Disable the wireless network card and connect the computer to the robot controller via wireless. On the homepage, click [Add robot] and enter 192.168.6.111. Upon returning to the homepage, you will notice that the previous IP address has been updated to 6.111 (due to port forwarding).
III. Frequently Asked Questions
3.1 In certain application scenarios, the WLAN MAC address of the TP client needs to be imported to the client's network background for network connection. However, in this case, the client may encounter connection failure due to the fact that the MAC on the back of the client is actually a LAN MAC, not a WLAN MAC. We recommend upgrading to the latest firmware provided in the attachment. After the upgrade, please read the Client MAC address on the home page and report it to the IT department of the customer.
3.2 Does TL-CPE1300D support WPA2 encrypted networks?
Analysis: For networks that do not support WPA2 encryption, we advise customers to change the wireless network to WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK AES encryption mode on site.
