1. Scope of Application
1.1 Equipment Model: Elco-OSM4x-485
1.1.1 Device Sequence
The distance sensor's 485 communication cable is connected to SRC2000
on TE23
for the 485 communication. Multiple groups of devices with different IDs can be combined together, and different devices can be connected after setting parameters respectively.

1.1.3 Button Description
TEACH
: Press and hold the Menu key for 3 seconds to switch to the menu, and then hold for another 3 seconds to switch to the display page.

: Move to the next page

: Page Up

The device version should be rb.07
or above. If it is not, please contact the merchant to upgrade.
View Version Method
Simultaneously press the

3. Configure Device Parameters
3.1 Configuring As Polling mode
To avoid configuration failure, repeat the configuration process twice. Once the configuration is complete, verify if the parameter has been successfully set.
3.2 ID Configuration
Display the menu by pressing Adr
, and navigate to the submenu by pressing TEACH
.
The submenu is initially displayed as 0
. Press UP/DOWN
to adjust parameters step by step with a value of 1
. Long press the UP/DOWN
key for 3 seconds or more to increase the step value to 10
.
Press the TEACH button to confirm and return to the upper-level menu. The value ranges from 0 to 255. The initial address is 0
, and 255 indicates the broadcast address.
3.3 Baud rate
The baud rate is equal to 115200
.
Display the menu with bAud
, press TEACH
to go to the submenu.
The submenu is initially displayed with a value of 115.2
. Press UP/DOWN
to adjust the parameters. The baud rate settings include the following options:
